Water Cooled
Keeping your diamond core drill cool and extend its life and improve its performance, reduce dust, remove cutting
We cutting diamond core drill must be used with a continuous water flow to prevent heat build-up, damage and hazard during cutting.
Check the drill or tool before using a wet cutting core drill.

- For stone, the optimum performance speed is 10-25% less than the speed shown below in table.
- For most tools, drill spindle speed will be higher than the recommended operating speed shown (below) in table (RPM's at no load).
- The actual drill spindle speed or tool will slow down underload and usually should fall within the optimum speed range.

These drills can be used in stationary installations and also hand-machines that provide a spindle rotation ranging from 2,000 To 4,000 RPM. Drilling should be carried out in a water bath or with water supplied through the center of the drill into drilling zone. Drill fastening in the self-centering chuck should be carried out via transitional bush which is in the complete set of the drill. I you use the drill in a stationary condition (on a drilling machine) it would be et to fasten the drill through the conoid tail soldered to the drill body with beating not more than 0.002 in (0.05mm). Depending on the drill diameter, the material to be drilled and the requirements of the hole finish, the drill feed rate is from 0.24 - .39in/mim (6-10mm/mim). With all drilling jobs, machinery and drills should be inspected prior to use. Proper protective eyewear should be worn and all protective precautions should be taken. IMPORTANT: Coolant supply into the drilling zone is obligatory. Maintaining the recommendations given above will provide a stable quality of holes for the maximum wear-life of the drill.
